Book shows age and general wear, loss of gilding on the title and frame around the cover image, rubbing wear at the corners and spine, some loss of paper at the bottom right corner of the first couple pages, some pages throughout show slight creasing, and / or marks of discoloration, evidence of handling over many years. Spine and all pages intact. Book is in Good condition, beautiful golden age illustrations throughout, very cool children’s book from almost 100 years ago-

Edge Wear and Chipping: The edges and corners show visible rubbing, minor paper loss, and small tears, particularly along the top edge and corners. Surface Wear: The face of the jacket has mild scuffing and edge-creasing, but the central illustration of the snake and the typography remain clean and brightly colored.
