This book was commissioned as part of The Bank of New York’s bicentennial celebration because it was felt that a history of the bank would provide some insights into how the nation’s present-day banking system evolved. Most of the documents, artifacts and photographs seen in the book have never been publicly shown before. This is a very hard to find item. The book is in very good condition, very minor scuffing, hardly noticeable, on the front cover and one small ding on the edge.
