This was my grandmother’s book and was a guide to help set up a household in the 1940s. Everything is discussed including etiquette,what to wear, infant and child care, sick room set up, how to by a mechanical refrigerator and serving meals, etc. It is of historical interest to anyone studying the era. USED book in GOOD condition. Great binding, pages and cover show normal signs of wear from use.Some pages yellowed over time from clippings being stored in the book.
