2004 “THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF NEWAYGO” COOKBOOK (MICHIGAN, 142 PAGES, NICE)
This is a soft-cover spiral-bound 2004 cookbook (see picture) entitled THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF NEWAYGO COOKBOOK. Newaygo is a city in Michigan. This cookbook contains a wide variety of great recipes–from Arielle Bouwer’s stuffed rolled venison log and Jamie Tait’s peanut butter no-bake to Susan Lathers’ moist banana bread and Peter Charette’s chicken cutlets! Each section of the cookbook includes a picture from Newaygo’s past–like Prospect Hill and the Stone Crib Dam (built in 1900) and Dr. Florence Quick, pioneer medicine woman. It is clean and intact, exhibiting little wear, discoloration, or creasing from handling and storage over the past 18 years. There appears to be no handwriting in the book. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Newaygo resident or cookbook collector in your life! Postage is $3.50.
