Space Relations by Donald Barr. First Print, Faucet Crest, P2370. Small ink chip on bottom of cover. A strange and memorable 1970s science fiction novel blending satire and interstellar politics. Barr later became a point of historical curiosity as the headmaster of the Dalton School, where Epstein would eventually teach math. None of that has anything to do with this novel, of course… but it does add an extra layer of intrigue for collectors of unusual cultural ephemera, vintage sci-fi cover art, and eccentric mid-century speculation.
